Personal Assistant/Homemaker Program

The Aged & Disabled Program is defined as a long-term care alternative which provides services that enable an individual to remain in or return to home rather than receive nursing home care. The goals and objectives of this program are on providing services that are person-centered, that promote choice and independence, participant direction, respect, and dignity and community integration.  Comforts of Home employs an agency Registered Nurse (RN) and Case Manager (Licensed Social Worker) to assist eligible persons in obtaining and maintaining in-home care services through the program.

Private Pay

Comforts of Home offers Private Pay caregiver services to persons who are not eligible for other in-home care programs.  We offer quality, in home, non-skilled assistance with the Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) such as: bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, housekeeping and transportation, if desired.  Private pay services are tailored to meet the specific personal care and/or environmental needs of the recipient.
UMWA Respite
Comforts of Home is also a provider of United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) The Funds Respite care services. Retirees and their beneficiaries may receive in-home respite care once eligibility requirements are determined and approved by a Funds administrator.
