CNA Training Program:  The CNA Training Program
consists of a free CNA training course in our South
Charleston, WV facility, which lasts six weeks.  The
training  is a comprehensive program which includes
 classroom instruction and practical clinical experience
in a local nursing facility.  CNA students are provided with
all necessary books and supplies, along with uniforms,
and a monthly stipend.  Family development specialists
are also be available to provide support in time management,
study preparation, employment assistance upon completion
of the training program, and emergency services assistance
as needed.


LPN Educational Support Program:  The LPN Educational Support Program assists students in completing their Licensed Practical Nurse Training.  This program provides tuition, books, and fees, along with a laptop computer, printer, and a monthly stipend.  Family development specialists are also available to provide support in time management, study preparation, employment assistance upon graduation, and emergency services assistance as needed.


Day Care Creation Program:  The Day Care Proram supports low income families in opening in-home day care facilities.  Family development specialists work closely with clients to assist with all aspects of setting up a day care in your home, including training, licensing, home repair and equipment purchase.  Additionally, 5 individuals will be placed in day care facilities throughout CRA's counties to reveive training in the child care field.


Ready to Work:  Ready to Work encompasses all of the Avenues to Employment, in addition to assisting low income families who are not participating in other ARRA programs with a variety of job training programs, job placement, and elimination of employment barriers. Family development specialists work closely with clients to assit families in becoming stable and self-sufficient.
