Capital Resource Agency, Inc. operates emergency food pantries throughout its entire service area.  Staff distribute USDA commodities and supplemental foodstuffs to qualified clients to assist clients in meeting their daily nutritional requirements. CRA, Inc. partners with the Upper Kanawha Valley Community Center in Kimberly, WV to provide hot and nutritious lunches Monday - Friday to qualified individuals.  Garden seeds are available in growing season to qualified individuals in the spring to supplement their nutritional needs. Staff partner with local agencies to instruct and provide informational pamphlets on how to can and freeze vegetables. 

Boone County Community Organization, Inc. operates 7 senior nutrition sites within Boone County.  These sites provide nutrition and recreational opportunities to senior citizens Monday -Friday.  BCCO offers referrals and other supportive services necessary to support active growth and development in senior citizens' lives.
